The Indigenous communities that have cared for the unceded and traditional lands and waters around me have done so for millennia. As an uninvited guest to these lands, I am grateful to build a home here and will do my best to honour and integrate truth and reconciliation into my practice. The Indigenous communities include the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem First Nation), and the Syilx Okanagan Nations.
